So what do you do if you want to stream games or Netflix on a Chromebook? Of course, you connect it to a television. Your Chromebook can be connected to a TV in a few different ways.

How to use HDMI to connect a Chromebook to a TV

The ideal method for connecting your Chromebook to a TV is a wired connection. You only have the choice of using HDMI since it is the standard for wired connections to TVs.

Also, make sure your Chromebook has an HDMI port. You can use an ordinary HDMI cable if it does.

You will need a USB-C to HDMI connection or a USB-C hub with an HDMI port if your Chromebook lacks one. Connect the HDMI end of the cable to the HDMI port on your TV after you’ve set up the suitable cable or hub.

Use HDMI, USB-C, or the hub to attach the opposite end of the cord to your Chromebook.

Your Chromebook’s Settings app should be opened. You can access it by using the search bar, the Settings gear icon, or the time in the bottom right corner.

Click Device in the Settings’ left navigation pane.

Click Displays in the Device Settings. Here is a list of all the TVs.

Click on the name of the TV in the list of devices to change the TV’s settings. The Mirror Internal Display option can be selected if you wish to mirror the Chromebook’s display on the TV.
