Need WhatsApp accounts for both personal and professional use? Sadly, WhatsApp only allows one account per phone, which might seem quite restrictive.

However, certain solutions let you access multiple WhatsApp accounts, such as using Parallel Space and cloning your applications using functionality already available on your Android phone.

There are fewer options for iOS devices. The most well-liked and advised approach includes first installing Tutu, then WhatsApp ++ duplicate.

Companies like Xiaomi, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, and Honor now include a feature called “Dual Apps” or “Dual Mode” that allows users to operate two separate accounts of the same chat application. 

To use two WhatsApp accounts, you do not need to carry two smartphones, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to do it on your Android and IOS phones.


How to use two WhatsApp on one Android phone

Use your phone’s dual app functionality

Let’s begin by discussing the name and settings that each manufacturer uses for this feature:

Dual Messenger (Samsung- Setting > Advance Feature > Dual Messenger

MIUI from Xiaomi: Dual applications – Settings  > Dual Apps

Clone Apps for Oppo – Settings  > Clone Apps

Vivo: Cloned app – Settings  > App clone

Twin apps on Asus – Settings  > Twin apps

Honor and Huawei: App Twin – Setting > App Twin

Now that we’ve shown you how to find the dual app functionality in your phone settings, it’s time to use it. Remember that this functionality works similarly, but isn’t the same on all android phones. As per this guide, our focus will be on using a Samsung phone. 

1. Open Settings: By swiping down from the top of the screen and pressing the gear symbol, you can also access settings. Keep in mind that this feature is only available on the most recent Samsung smartphones and tablets.

2. Click on Advanced Features.

3. To view this menu option, you may need to scroll down.

4. Select Dual Messenger: This functionality clones applications so you may use one app to manage two accounts. It’ll show you a list of the supported applications on your phone. 

5. Click on Install: To begin cloning WhatsApp, you must confirm your activity.

  • As the app clones, a loading indicator will appear. 
  • This might take some time. 
  • The cloned app is located in the app drawer. Two orange circles may be seen in the bottom right corner of the app icon.


Use Parallel Space on Android

The most widely used app for enabling users to set up two WhatsApp accounts on a single phone is Parallel Space, and LBE Tech is the company behind the app.

Parallel Space can be downloaded and installed via the Google Play Store. Then follow these steps:

  1. Launch Parallel Space. This app’s symbol resembles a “P” with elements of yellow, orange, and blue. You may search for Parallel Space, find it in the app drawer, or on your home screen. Before moving on, you may need to grant the app’s permissions.
  1. To skip through the tutorial, tap Start.
  1. Select WhatsApp, and tap the icon. The app icon will show a blue checkmark in the top left corner to show that it has been chosen.
  1. Simply press Add to Parallel Space. Before it can start duplicating the app, you may need to grant the app rights.
  1. Open WhatsApp. Below the app, there is wording stating that tapping it will ask you to create a second account.
  1. On the Welcome screen of WhatsApp, select  Agree and Continue.
  1. Enter the second WhatsApp phone number you have. You want to set up your second account at this phone number.
  2. You have to pass via Parallel Space to get to this second account.


Use Two Whatsapp with Tutu on iPhone

In Safari, go to Using the Tutu app, you will download and set up a second instance of WhatsApp.

Tutu needs access to your contacts, calls, SMS, Wi-Fi information, and other data on your tablet or phone, among other things.

Now select Install. You may follow the website’s download steps, which include verifying the download. When Tutu has finished installing, a pop-up will appear to inform you that it is not an Apple-trusted service. To proceed, you must select  “Cancel.”

Launch Settings

Press General.

Select Device Management. This may be found under the “VPN” tab.

Click on China Television Information Technology. This falls under the category of “Enterprise App.”

Click on Trust “China Television Information Technology”. If you tap here, the Tutu app will be able to download and install applications on your phone. You can now close the app.

Launch the TutuApp. This app’s symbol seems to be a white rabbit silhouette on a blue backdrop. This app is often located on the home screen.

Skip the tutorial by swiping.

Click on the Search button. Your phone’s keypad will raise from the bottom and the search bar will appear.

Use your keyboard to enter “WhatsApp” and then press “search.” There will be search results.

The fourth result, “WhatsApp++ duplicate,” should be selected. The developer of the app is @unlimapps.

Click on Install. A popup asking for confirmation will appear.

You’ll see WhatsApp ++ on your home screen.

Create a second WhatsApp account. Using WhatsApp and WhatsApp ++, you may access your various accounts.
